The Story of Sakkura
My name is Morgan Quinlan, and I am an impassioned graphic designer and marketing strategist with a passion dedicated to creating eye-catching, one-of-a-kind designs and visuals to elevate your brand.
My journey into creating began as a child, initially out of my admiration for my artist sister. What started with only crayons and coloring books blossomed into a deep love for the arts and all its mediums. In high school I chose an elective in graphic design out of pure curiosity- which ended up being my true calling.
With over a decade of experience, my passion for design still grows, and I currently work for Synergy FCU as a marketing assistant and graphic designer. Previously, I had honed my skills for three years at San Antonio College's Marketing and Strategic Communications Department as an intern and freelance designer.
During this time, I was known as "MQGraphics," but I recognized it was time for a rebrand. After much reflection, I officially transitioned MQGraphics Studios to "Sakkura Design Studios." Sakkura reflects my long-time admiration for Japanese cherry blossoms (sakura). As they fall, the petals of the blossoms create a unique swirling pattern, a phenomenon so beautiful time is dedicated to their admiration, known as 'Hanami' (花見 / 'flower viewing')- symbolizing my fresh and rejuvenated approach to delivering authentic and breathtaking designs.
My mission is to bring my clients to the forefront of their industries with unparalleled visuals, deliverables, and branding that resonates with their core beliefs, values, and audience.
